Design new scooter's body

"In process of designing new parts for the scanned scooter I was special occupied with the 1:1 scale
and the final “usability” of the modeled parts. After making some sketches I forgot the idea of a total
make over, because of the lines for lights and other parts, so I was trying to find a new more modern
and a bit aggressive look for the scooter. After making the sketches of the main lines and the “air
out-take” theme, I imported the scaned model in Autodesk Maya 3D modeling software and began
my work on the modeling. After remodeling all the scaned parts (to get a feel of how deep, long the
parts can be) I started to give some shape to it. I modeled in polygons, converted them in sub-
Devisons (for better control and smoother lines) and when I was finished with modeling I converted
it back to polygons for better render performance. All the rendered pictures are made with standard
MayaSoftware render on production quality and 1080i resolution. Parts are exported to wrml, all the
proportions are the same only the left and right skirt are a bit smaller (0.83 of the real size). If there
is any problem with exported formats I happy to upload in any different format. I uploaded a rendered
animation (a short realm) for a better view of the project. The scooter wheels, rims and other parts are
modeled for representational pictures only."
