3D Printing PDF Print E-mail
The 3D Colour Printing machines are an improvement in a Rapid Prototyping world. Z Corporation offers a suite of 3D printers to suit applications from high school education through he most demanding commercial environments like Product Design and Engineering. This is only full-color technology in the world. Every solid CAD data can be printed on 3D printer and you can get real phisical 3D colour part. The bigest volume of model that is made by 3D printer (Spectrum Z510) is 254 mm x 203 mm x 356 mm. Large models can be devided to smaller parts, printed and joint afterwards. Printer can print in resolution of 600dpi x 540dpi.

How 3D printer works
Printers software ZPrint cut the solid object into digital cross sections, or layers, creating a 2D image for each slice along the z axis. Z Corporation 3D printers use standard inkjet printing technology to create parts layer-by-layer by depositing a liquid binder onto thin layers of powder. Instead of feeding paper under the print heads like a 2D printer, a 3D printer moves the print heads over a bed of powder upon which it prints the cross-sectional data sent from the ZPrint software.

System Software: ZPrint software accepts solid models in STL, VRML and PLY file formats as input. Software features 3D viewing, text labeling, and scaling functionality.

Magics software (Materialise) enables you to import a wide variety of CAD formats and to export files ready for rapid prototyping, tooling and manufacturing. Its applications include repairing and optimising 3D models; analyzing parts; making process-related design changes on your STL files; designing fixtures; documenting your projects; production planning and much more.
