As a part of Fespa Digital 2006 in Amsterdam, there
take part also the 3D Print Forum exhibition as premiere event in the
world of 3D printing with the guideline to present technology for the
future, which is available today, to all printers of the world. The
Fespa Digital 2006 was success for visitors and exhibitions. Visit was
exceptional: 9,317 individual visitors in total (12,323 actual visits)
from 103 countries.
The most exciting
event on Fespa Digital 2006 was so from word print expert and visitors
echo, our 3D Print Forum exhibition. 3D Print Forum event featured the
presentation of 3D printing process, exhibition of the 3D Youth Model
Competition, lectures at Showcase Theatre and life presentation of the
newest online communication technology. Results and all pictures of 3D
models you can see on 3D Youth Model Competition homepage.
The
program at Showcase Theatre at 16th May include lectures of extensive
use of 3D printing on different areas (Industrial Design, Engineering,
Construction, Architecture and Urbanism, GIS applications and 3D
Computer Art) that where gave from our sponsor CONTEX, Karin Rytz
Gregersen, responsible for 3D Print. The seminar part included
presentation of winning models of 3D Youth Model Competition 2006, that
where also exhibited on our booth, life presentation of new online
business communication application – ISL PRONTO and presentation of
main activities of organizer, SDT Institute Sezana.
The
3D Print Forum exhibition was a success, since response and
interest from visitors and exhibitors was exceptional. Visitors could
at the eminent location of the 3D Print Forum recognize the entire
process of preparation and printing of models and see the exhibition of
the 3D models. Because 3D Print Forum was powered by
unique online communication there was a premiere life presentation of
this new internet communication tool – ISL PRONTO. New online
professional business communication was presented as excellent tool for
printers to improve their recognition, efficiency and competitiveness.
For visitors of Fespa Digital event and Fespa members was offered
special FESPA Digital 2006 offer of ISL PRONTO.

3D YOUTH MODEL COMPETITION 2006
The 3D Print Forum was organized by SDT Institute Sezana
in cooperation with Center for Screen, Digital and Pad Printing (CeSDT)
and the Section for Screen, Pad and Digital Print at the Slovenian Chamber
of Commerce and Industry with full support of the European Print Federation
(FESPA).
Five competition categories:
1.) Industrial Design, Procuct Design;
2.) Engineering, Construction;
3.) Architecture and Urbanism (Civil engineering);
4.) GIS applications (3D Terrain, urban models, ...)
5.) 3D Computer Art, archaeology, Medicine and Prothetics.
From every category was voted three winners witch have received 3D PRINT FORUMA posters and rappresentative 3D color model. All competitive models was exibited at 3D PRINT FORUMA at FESPA DIGITAL 2006, RAI Amsterdam.

3D PRINT FORUM 2006 EXHIBITION
PLACE, RAI Amsterdam
At the
fair was exhibited the winners of 3D Youth model competition. The fair visitors
also voted for their best model. Also the voter of the selected model was
selected and received a price, with was a winning model. The prize was sent to China.

"3D
Youth Model Competition" award celebration
On
Thuesday 20. June 2006 we confer awards for winning 3D models of 3D Youth Model
Competition and for winning 3D model selected from visitors of Fespa Digital
2006. Award celebration was in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Solemn
program include besides conferring the awards also description and presentation
of 3D technology by expert for 3D technology. First three winners selected by
international professional commission received reward for classification in
each of five categories and their own 3D model printed on 3D colour printer. In
Industrial design / Product design category authors of two unclassified models
received their own 3D model without reward.
Author of
winning 3D model Magenta ball, Kaja Antlej, selected by visitors of Fespa
Digital 2006, received cheque for 3D colour printing in value of 1000 €.
The Magenta ball was chosen to be the representative symbol
of 3D Print Forum 2007, Let’s make it in 3D! 3D Scanning and 3D Printing
contest 2007. Only the colour was changed to green.
